BBCA exists as a commitment by Bethel Baptist Church to provide families in the greater Chautauqua County area with a school offering a quality Christian education. This idea came to life in 1976 when BBCA opened its doors with 14 students in grades K through 3.
The school has seen God's continued provision and blessing over the years. With recent new construction providing space that includes additional classrooms, a full-sized gymnasium and outdoor athletic fields, BBCA became an even better facility for educating the area youth.
As a direct ministry of Bethel Baptist Church, the academy is directed by a committee that consists of nine church members. This committee is then directly responsible to the deacon board of the church.
Admission to BBCA is not restricted to Baptist affiliation. Currently, there are over 20 different churches represented among our student population and staff. Families and students must agree to the basic Biblical doctrines listed in our statement of faith and to adhere to the behavioral standards as presented in our parent/student handbook.
